Service Definition & "No Reliance" Clause
AUDO.stream is an identity infrastructure and metadata structuring engine. We provide the tools to format and syndicate machine-readable data to improve AI discoverability.
- infoNot a Legal Authority:
AUDO does not provide legal identity validation, copyright registration, or proof of royalty entitlement. Users may not rely on AUDO as a sole source for verifying legal rights or financial claims.
- infoOutcome Disclaimer:
While we optimize technical conditions for discovery, AUDO makes no warranties regarding the generation of Google Knowledge Panels, specific search rankings, or LLM citation frequency. These are determined by third-party algorithms outside our control.
Ownership & License Grant
User Data
You retain full ownership of the raw metadata (names, ISRCs, biographies) you submit.
AUDO Property
AUDO retains exclusive ownership of the platform, schemas, enrichment logic, and derived AI structuring outputs.
License to Outputs
AUDO grants you a non-exclusive, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use the specific JSON-LD payloads and markdown manifestations generated for your entity. AUDO retains ownership of the "machine" and the transformation logic.
Acceptable Use & AI Moat Protection
To protect our "Data Refinery" and entity graph, users are strictly prohibited from:
- blockScraping & Training:
Using any AUDO output (JSON-LD, /.ai endpoints, or Markdown) to create, train, test, or improve external machine learning models or competing artist databases.
- blockAutomated Harvesting:
Performing systematic retrieval, benchmarking, or competitive analysis via automated bots.
- blockIntegrity:
Submitting false, misleading, or impersonated metadata. We reserve the right to terminate access if automated abuse or fraudulent patterns are detected.
Third-Party Registries & API Volatility
- apiAgency Authorization:
You authorize AUDO to act as your agent in submitting metadata to third-party registries (e.g., Wikidata, MusicBrainz, ISNI via Quansic).
- publicIrrevocability:
You acknowledge that once data is submitted to open, public registries, it enters the public domain. AUDO cannot guarantee the deletion or modification of data once accepted by these third parties.
- warningUpstream Changes:
AUDO is not liable for service changes or data inconsistencies caused by upstream API providers (e.g., Spotify, Soundcharts).
Payments & "Identity Insurance" Logic
- paymentsMerchant of Record:
All transactions are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our legal Merchant of Record. Sales tax compliance and billing disputes are governed by their policies.
- inventory_2Maintenance Mode:
If you cancel your subscription, you may be offered "Maintenance Mode" ($3.99/mo). In this mode, editing is disabled, but your static JSON-LD web bundle remains hosted to protect your "sunk-cost SEO equity" and keep your AI citations active.
- hourglass_emptyGrace Period:
Failed payments trigger a 7-day grace period before the account is suspended or downgraded.
Liability & Jurisdiction
Liability Cap
AUDO’s total liability for any claim is capped at the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA. Disputes will be resolved via binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and you waive your right to participate in class actions.
